photo a day.

"the holy grail is to spend less time making the picture than
it takes people to look at it" – Banksy

come take a look into my world, these are my explorations, studies, & snapshots, my continuous photographic journal. i'm a 20-something graphic designer & photographer who is daily discovering that life is more absurd, hilarious, confusing, and beautiful than i ever thought possible. I hope to create images that are truly worth looking at, and that capture a bit of the beauty that surrounds me every day. Please check back daily.

I’d love to hear from you, whether it's just to say hello, to propose a collaboration, or make a suggestion, do email me

The Angel Tree Oak, Johns Island, SC
Believed to be over 1,400 years old, standing 65 ft tall and providing a shade canopy of over 17,000 ft the Angel Tree Oak is truly one of the most amazing things i have ever seen. It’s basically impossible to capture the entire tree in a photograph but i did my best to give you just a glimpse. The branches are so large they could each be their own tree, dipping down to rest on the ground and at times dive under the soil only to appear again a few feet later. The canopy of leaves and moss covered branches creates the most magical feeling with spanish moss only adding to the romance. Obviously the tree is now protected and visitors are not allowed to climb the branches, but i know that i wasn’t the only one imagining scrambling to the top!
