Let’s talk music

Most of my music has come to me via friends, ex-boyfriends, family, co-workers etc. While i love it, i don’t actively seek out new bands or musicians in the way that i do with photographers, designers etc. I could run through my recent ipod additions and name off where the music came from: The Hold Steady via the ithaca boys, Buena Vista Social Club via a co-worker, The Duhks via.. well, the Duhks and so on… I prefer my music to come to me this way, it reminds me of the friends who for the most part live far away. All it takes is the opening notes of a song to take me back to where i first heard it. This is how i like my memories, and music, on repeat..but, i digress.
