oh, patience.

There are very few things i wait to do, if i bought a new dress, chances are i’m wearing it out that night. new album? it’s gonna be on repeat all week. new boots? be serious, i’ll wear em out of the store. The plane ticket i just bought? i didn’t even wait for my friend (who i will be staying with) to return from peru to snap it up. but there are a few things i do save, and look forward to every single monday. in the chance you might enjoy these too, i decided to share… every monday i come to work and download the following podcasts from the weekend:

Let me tell you, these stories make my monday afternoon go by so much faster, and are something i just love. I’m a creature of habit, i’ll admit it. Monday mornings are for Dowd’s editorials and my favourite sunday style articles, afternoons are podcasts.

oh, and speaking of story corps, if you haven’t read Listening is an Act of Love, RUN to the library or store to get it. I’ve leant it to everyone who will take it. It is truly beautiful.
